Dorshei Tzedek Teen Youth Group
CDT is excited to build upon the leadership and vision of last year’s youth programming to continue our Teen Youth Group in 5784!
This monthly gathering will be a space to foster new and deepen current friendships, build capacity for leadership and facilitation, and connect around collective learning and community building. The High School Youth Group will be co-created alongside youth to reflect your interests, and build on Dorshei’s values of Jewish learning, celebration, and social justice. The Youth Group will meet once a month on Sunday afternoons or Tuesday evenings, holiday and youth availability dependent, and will include a shared meal. Jewish friends outside of Dorshei are welcome to join!
Meet the Youth Group Coordinator
coco (corine) rosenberg (they/themme) is thrilled to be joining the CDT community as the Youth Group Coordinator for 5783. An artist, educator, organizer, and care worker, coco is passionate about building joyful community, connecting with our creative selves, and following youth leadership as we build a more just world together. corine holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan in Social Theory and Practice, an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Arts in Education, and is finishing their certification as a nurse aide. Beyond their work as an educator and organizer, coco loves sci-fi (especially Star Trek and Octavia Butler), foraging and herbalism, hiking, and building queer and disabled community ritual.
