Wise Aging
Wise Aging
A new Wise Aging group will begin on October 23rd. The group will meet via Zoom at 3 pm on the following Sundays:
October 23, November 6 & 20, December 4 & 18, and January 8
The group will be led by CDT member Dr. Carol Hausman and will include discussion, journaling, hevruta, meditation, and more. We will be looking at several aspects of aging — relationships, spiritual qualities for well-being, living with loss, dying well, and exploring our legacy. Participants are asked to purchase the book Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit by Rachel Cowan and Linda Thal.
Carol led several Wise Aging groups in her Reconstructionist synagogue in Washington DC before moving to the Boston area. Please get in touch with her if you are interested in joining this group. Email cpopky@gmail.com or call 202.494.1935.
