Blessed are you, SOURCE OF LIFE, our God, who creates the fruit of the vine.
Blessed are you, BOUNDLESS ONE, our God, who has made us holy with Your mitzvot and taken pleasure in us, and given us the holy Shabbat with love, a remembrance of the work of Creation. For it is the first of all the holy days proclaimed, a symbol of the Exodus from Egypt. For You have called to us and made us holy to serve You, and have given us Your holy Shabbat, to keep with love and intention. Blessed are you, SOURCE OF WONDER, who makes Shabbat holy.
