As part of our commitment to exploring the issue of reparations in the U.S., all are invited to join CDT members Tatjana Meschede and Linette Liebling for an exploration of German acknowledgment of and reparations for the Holocaust. Our learning will be historical and an opportunity to reflect on how this example of a nation taking responsibility for its sins might apply – or not – to the reparations discussion here in America.

Tatjana Meschede grew up as a child of non-Jewish parents in Germany; Linette Liebling grew up as a child of two Holocaust survivors in Brooklyn.
