"More than the Jewish people have kept Shabbat, Shabbat has kept the Jewish people."
- Ahad Ha-Am
In these tumultuous times, come find safe harbor in the ancient spiritual technology of Shabbat.
Join Rabbi Beck in Somerville for a cozy, in-person, three-part learning series to deepen and reinvigorate your Shabbat practice. We will make Shabbat together in Rabbi Beck's home, reflect on what it means to keep and to guard this sacred time in our own lives, delve into the core mitzvot of Shabbat, and workshop the practical details of how to lead Shabbat rituals in our homes.
Please note that this class is capped at 10 participants and you must be able to attend all three sessions.
If you cannot join us for the class but would like to join for Havdalah on January 10 or 31, at 5:30 pm, you are welcome! Please email Beck at b.epstein@dorsheitzedek.org for the address.
