With so many issues affecting workers in such significant (and harmful) ways, this Shabbat of Labor Day weekend we have an opportunity to reflect and focus on those most seriously affected: immigrant workers. Join us for our annual virtual Labor Day Shabbat to hear and learn from leaders at the Matahari Women Workers' Center about current challenges and actions we can take to make a difference in the lives of all struggling to live and work with dignity. We will begin at 10:00 am with the morning service, then at 11:00 am welcome our guest speakers for a presentation and conversation, with concluding prayers and songs, including Mourners Kaddish, at approximately 11:45 am.
