On Shabbat Hazon, the Shabbat before Tish’a b’Av, we welcome back Cantor Louise Treitman. She will lead us in prayer and speak about her experience on the Zamir Chorale of Boston’s 1999 trip to Eastern Europe. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Jewish choral movement, which was founded in Łódź, Poland, this powerful trip was captured in the PBS film, ZAMIR: Jewish Voices Return to Poland.
