The Mother's Day Walk for Peace (MDW4P) is a beloved 29-year-long Boston tradition and celebration of our potential to create more peaceful communities. It is the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s (LDBPI) largest fundraising event to grow and sustain our services, advocacy, and training. Our goal this year is to raise $600,000 to empower survivors; Generation Peace; and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief, and loss, all in order to cultivate cycles of peace and healing. With your help, we can reach this goal together!
Join CDT in supporting the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s Annual Mother’s Day Walk for Peace on Sunday, May 11. Last year we raised over $8,000, and we hope to raise over $5,000 this year!
We also hope to have a large representation from the CDT Religious School. This year there is a new, even shorter route! The total route is now 3.2 miles, beginning and ending at Town Field in Dorchester. If you have not participated previously, please consider walking this year.
This year each person is asked to register individually so you can ask your friends and family to contribute. Those who walk are asked to pay $25 per walker. When registering, please indicate that you are part of Team Dorshei Tzedek.
