7:30 PM - 8:45 PMZoom
All are invited to learn from and be inspired by CDT members and immigration justice activists Bonnie Tenneriello, Muriel Heiberger, Paula Rayman, and Bob Warren, and to learn more about opportunities for action at this moment of crisis for immigrants in our country.
Bonnie Tenneriello describes the activities of the CDT Immigrant Justice committee and opportunities for action.
Muriel Heiberger founded the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) in 1987, a policy advocacy and action group that supports the rights and resettlement of the nearly 1.2 million immigrants and refugees living in Massachusetts.
Paula Rayman produced a video documenting the lives, hardships, and success of several immigrant families who continue to make important contributions in this country. Paula will share the video and her education efforts.
Bob Warren, past CDT president, has dedicated his professional career to providing legal support to the immigrant community. He describes the increasing demands on his clients to protect their rights and privileges while facing the changing laws and executive orders of a hostile administration.
Join this Zoom meeting to to be inspired and learn how you can contribute to justice for immigrants whether you have limited time or more to offer.
