All are welcome to join the newly named Avodah Committee as we explore opportunities for spiritual engagement on Shabbat and in other contexts in the new year. The Avodah Committee is dedicated to enriching and deepening the spiritual life of our community. Through both traditional and innovative practices — including prayer, music, the arts, learning, meditation, time spent in nature, and more — we strive to create meaningful opportunities for prayer, reflection, and connection. At this meeting, we will study Jewish texts connected to the natural world and explore opportunities for spiritual engagement in nature for the coming year, as well as other types of opportunities.
