Disability Justice

Overview

The CDT Disability Justice Group is a circle of learning, care, and action. We come together to reimagine community through the lens of access, dignity, and deep belonging. Our group includes people who are disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, aging, or navigating shifting needs — as well as friends, family, and allies. You don’t need to identify in any specific way to join us. If you care about building a more just and loving, for all kinds of bodies and minds, you are welcome!

Current Action Items

• If you need Covid tests, Disability Justice Group member-leader Angela still has some, which she will replenish at CDT as long as they last.
• Virtual National Disability Rights Conference: For those with disabilities and those who work with people with disabilities. June 2-5.
• People will die with Medicare cuts, and they will be disabled people (Angela personally relies on Medicaid/MassHealth). Please speak out even though we have good folks here in Massachusetts, they still need to hear disabled stories.
