Disability Justice at CDT

Overview

The CDT Disability Justice Group is a circle of learning, care, and action. We come together to reimagine community through the lens of access, dignity, and deep belonging. Our group includes people who are disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, aging, or navigating shifting needs — as well as friends, family, and allies. You don’t need to identify in any specific way to join us. If you care about building a more just and loving, for all kinds of bodies and minds, you are welcome!

What We Do

  • Create disability-inclusive Chesed practices rooted in mutual care
  • Offer accessibility audits and share learnings with our wider community
  • Study Torah through disabled perspectives
  • Learn about how disability intersects other marginalized identities and capitalism
  • Action Ideas for Disability Justice at CDT are current and former action ideas

Future Meetings

Every third Thursday we meet and discuss disabled torah, community needs, and disabled justice. Register here.
