Beyond Incarceration
Beyond Incarceration
CDT's Beyond Incarceration participates in local and statewide efforts focusing on replacing the carceral state with programs that treat people as human beings no matter their transgressions. We also work to change unfair and ineffective laws, such as mandatory minimums for drug offenses.
On March 21, 2023, we hosted a powerful conversation about women's incarceration in MA and a campaign to enact a moratorium on new prison construction and to re-imagine a world beyond incarceration. View the program here.
