Sunday, March 23, 2025 • 23 Adar 5785
11:00 AM - 12:00 PMTemple Reyim Shared Campus (1860 Washington St, Auburndale)Far too often kids with and without disabilities do not form friendships, despite the benefits of having a variety of relationships with a variety of people. This presentation provides suggestions to help parents and caregivers connect their children with others in deep and meaningful ways. Using a Jewish lens, the case is made that we are more alike than different, and that friendship is a necessity for all. Workshop by Jonathan Spiller and Rachel Hayward, Pathways to Friendship Facilitators for the Arc of Massachusetts.
Rachel Hayward is a Pathways to Friendship Facilitator for the Arc of Massachusetts, helping to foster authentic relationships and friendships for people with disabilities in their communities.
