Retreat 2023 Details
We're so excited to come together again for the 1-day CDT Retreat on June 3rd, 2023! This all-day event will be at Frank A. Day Camp in East Brookfield, MA.
We will have a variety of scheduled activities for all different interests and activity levels, including learning, music, arts, sports, archery, climbing wall, Israeli dancing, and nature-based activities.
To cover the cost of the site rental, staffing, and food we are asking members to contribute on a sliding scale between $36 and $250 per household. If this presents a hardship to your family, please contact EDO Margaret Farmer — we really want this memorable day to be accessible for everyone!

We will have a variety of scheduled activities for all different ages, interests, and activity levels, including learning, music, arts, sports, and nature-based activities.

In order to make the event a success, we need your help!
We welcome adults and teens to volunteer. Tasks include leading or helping with activities, meals, set-up, and logistics. We will send a volunteer sign-up form soon.
We want your leadership! If you have an activity that you would be willing to lead, please note it in your registration.
Food
We will provide kosher snacks, lunch, and dinner with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. You are more than welcome to bring whatever food you like to accommodate other food restrictions (no alcohol permitted). Our cost per meal per person is $11.
The full Retreat Menu will be available soon.
COVID-19 Protocols
As a congregation, we will be extra cautious in order to enable as many congregants as possible to participate. Happily, many of our members are fully vaccinated. However, we also have many attendees who are not eligible for vaccination as well as other immunocompromised/high risk attendees who still depend on the community to take precautions to protect them. In order to balance the loosening CDC and MA state requirements along with our obligation to protect our more vulnerable members, our final policies will be detailed below as soon as they are confirmed.
