Adina’s love of education began when she was a teenager teaching English as a volunteer in rural Thailand. Before moving to the Boston area, Adina graduated from Bennington College in Vermont. Adina has a Fine Arts background and is excited to share her knowledge and passion for creativity with the students and with the community here at CDT.

Having previously worked as a B'nai Mitzvah tutor in high school and as a preschool teacher in college, Talya is grateful for the opportunity to continue working with children in a Jewish context. She can’t wait to get to know everyone and is excited for a great semester of learning!
Curriculum Overview
Gimel-Bereishit: Students formally begin their study of Torah by focusing deeply on the first stories in the Torah — including creation, Adam and Eve, and the Tower of Babel. They learn the havruta (partnership) mode of study, and will participate in projects focused on care for the earth.
