High Holydays 2025/5786
High Holydays 5786/2025 - L'shanah Tovah!
Important Notice: Guest registration for Yom Kippur is now closed, and the service link has been emailed to all current members and registered guests. If you have not registered yet, we would still love to welcome you to our in-person services Gann Academy, but please keep in mind that the front desk will not have your name(s). Thank you for your understanding!
We enter into the Jewish new year the evening of Monday, September 22! CDT looks forward to welcoming members and guests to our High Holydays programs this year, in person at Gann Academy and via livestreaming. Please see the Forms page to register children or a guest, add a loved one to the Yizkor scroll, or volunteer! You can also visit the links under High Holydays Navigation (to the right on your desktop and at the bottom on mobile) to learn more!
L’shanah tovah tikateivu and anyada buena, dulse, i alegre — may we all be written for a sweet and healthy new year!
Tickets and Payment
It costs CDT approximately $50,000 to bring our High Holyday services to the community. This includes rent, security, technology, children's programming, additional staff, and food, in addition to CDT staff time. While CDT adult membership includes attendance at High Holydays, we request contributions for non-member partners, children of members, and close relatives, as well as our non-member guests. We are committed to ensuring that finances never be a barrier to participation, and a pay-what-you-can option is included on the High Holydays Registration Form.
Members and guests who register before 5:00 pm on September 18 will have a name tag awaiting you at Gann Academy. This name tag will serve as your "ticket" throughout High Holyday services.
Please see the sidebar menu to the right (or at the bottom of the page if you are on mobile) for a detailed service schedule and more information about our High Holydays programming. If you have questions, please email us at highholydays@dorsheitzedek.org.
We are a mask-optional space. Masking is not required, but we will have masks available as well as a mask-only seating section. We welcome all who would prefer to remain masked and keep distanced. Please see our COVID guidelines for more information.
Interested in becoming a member? Please email our VPs of Membership, Janet Rickles and Rachelle Abrahami, for more information. If you attend High Holydays services and decide by October 31 that you'd like to become a member, your High Holydays contribution will be credited towards your membership dues. More information about our dues structure can be found here.
