Welcome to CDT's High Holydays 5785 Reservations Form for Non-Members!

Please note: Guests who register after 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 10 will not have a name tag waiting for them at Yom Kippur services — we still look forward to welcoming you and will have blank "GUEST" name tags available as your ticket.

CDT looks forward to welcoming you to our High Holydays programs this year, both in person at Gann Academy (333 Forest St, Waltham) and via livestreaming. Completing this form ensures that you will receive livestream links to our main services, which will be sent to the email address of the primary contact on October 2 at 12:00 pm for Rosh Hashanah services and on October 11 at 12:00 pm for Yom Kippur. Please complete this form as soon as possible; after your responses are submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from our office.

Please note that seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis — we expect that all seats will be filled.

Visit our High Holydays webpages for our health protocols, programming details, and accessibility information.

It costs us approximately $47,500 to bring our High Holydays services to the community (including rent for Gann Academy, equipment rental, technology, food, security, and children’s programming). This does not include CDT staff time. To help cover these costs, we ask for contributions from our non-member guests.

We are happy to offer high-quality programming, childcare, and food for the children in our community; to help offset these costs, we ask families participating in children’s programming to please contribute.

Please contact us at highholydays@dorsheitzedek.org with any questions. Thank you!

[Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.]

Households choosing to become members of Dorshei Tzedek by October 31 have the opportunity to apply their adult High Holydays fees to their first year's dues.
The form will populate as you select responses based on your answers.
It is vital that our service leaders and childcare providers know how many children will be in attendance so that we can prepare adequate adult-to-child ratios!

Below are the suggested contribution levels for each type of ticket:

We recognize that life circumstances and our suggested contributions are not always compatible, and the amount that corresponds with your ticket type may be too high or too low for your household. Using both charts as a reference, please type in the amount that that best fits your current situation — you can contribute the suggested amount, select from these common sliding scale options, or simply enter any amount that feels right to you. Feel free to go with a lower amount, and if you are able to contribute more, that is very much appreciated!! Those joining via livestream only are also always welcome to contribute whatever amount feels right to you.
It costs us approximately $47,500 to bring High Holydays services to our in-person and online community, so additional donations are always extremely appreciated!
Guests who indicate that they do not plan to join us in person will not have a physical name tag made for their ticket. Livestream links will be emailed to all registrants prior to services regardless of this selection.
Attendee Information for Reservation Nametags

Each attendee will pick up their nametag at the first service they attend (starting with Erev Rosh Hashanah). Your nametag will serve as your ticket throughout High Holyday services. Please fill in the names, pronouns, and ages (if applicable) for each attendee.

A note about pronouns:
For many people, the pronouns they use to refer to themselves are not given much consideration. However, for people under the transgender/nonbinary/gender-nonconforming umbrella, pronouns can be a major part of their identity and personhood, and being misgendered by being called the wrong pronouns can leave them feeling hurt and alienated. Sharing your pronouns is a great act of kavod (respect) and chesed (loving-kindness) that creates a safe space by normalizing the act of not assuming someone's gender, combating gender stereotypes, and reducing some of the burden of explaining one's identity.

"Sharing, asking, and using correct pronouns helps maintain shalom bayit (peace in the home) by contributing to an environment where everyone can be comfortable and safe." –Keshet, What's in a Pronoun?

Please enter your pronouns in the box below (ex. she/her, they/them, they/he, ze/zir, etc.). If you prefer not to share your pronouns, please indicate so by typing in "Choose not to say."
Livestream links will be emailed to this address.
If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility at CDT services, please email highholydays@dorsheitzedek.org.
