Tisha b'Av - from Destruction to Rebuilding

8:00 PM - 9:30 PMin person at Fellowship Hall, CDTJoin Rabbi Toba, Matthew Valleau, and Marjorie Salvodon for this evening commemorating the destruction of the Temples in Jerusalem. We will hear the chanting of the book of Lamentations, sit with the experience of personal and societal brokenness, and – based on a tradition that the Messiah will be born on Tisha b'Av – begin to move towards rebuilding through song, study, and artistic expression (no artistic background necessary!).
