Rainbow Thread Text Study

We will celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month "Got Shabbat"-style, with a morning filled with activities for all ages! All are invited to join Rabbi Toba in the CDT Sanctuary or on Zoom for morning songs and blessings, beginning at 10 am. Then, at approximately 10:20 am, people of all ages, gender identities and sexualities are invited to choose an activity:

• Morning service with Rabbi Toba and text study with Education Director Earnest Arky Solomon - "Locating ourselves in our sacred texts" - an exploration of queerness in Judaism over time (in person and on Zoom)
• A special Pride celebration with Morah Devora Rohr for families with kids ages 0-7 (in person)
• Intergenerational Pride art with Rabbi Emily Mathis, ages 8 and up  (in person)
• Mindful movement with Esther Kohn, for all ages — move with pride and dignity as we practice yoga, and if the spirit moves us, some group dancing!  (in person)

We'll gather back together for Torah reading and closing blessings. Kiddush lunch will follow services.
