CDT Rabbinic Intern Akiva Nelson will be facilitating text study and discussion for the CDT Men's Group during the fall, focusing on the topics of family estrangement, conflict, and reconciliation. We'll look primarily at the stories of Jacob and Esau and Joseph and his brothers, while also reading and discussing contemporary texts about family estrangement and reconciliation (especially Fault Lines: Fractured Families and How to Mend Them by Dr. Karl Pillemer). We will cap the sessions at 15-18 folks total.
Please let Akiva know if you have questions or if you'd like to take this class but don't regularly participate in the Men's Group; he can be reached at a.nelson@ dorsheitzedek.org.
