High Holydays 2022/5783 - L'shanah Tovah!

This year we will be gathering for services at Gann Academy (back in our “usual” sanctuary space in the Gann dining room), as well as livestreaming our services. In addition, there will be options for outdoor and Zoom programming on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. For indoor programming, we require everyone remain masked throughout services, and ask that all those aged 5 and above who are eligible for vaccination be vaccinated (with at least one booster). Children of all ages are welcome indoors this year, with all those 2 and older wearing a well-fitted mask.

Please see the menu to the right for more information about our High Holydays programs, and read on for information about registration and resources for home celebration.

If you would like your own copy of the Reconstructionist machzor (High Holydays prayerbook), especially if you will be joining us via livestream, you can purchase a copy here. Alternatively, if you would like to access an online version, please click on this link.

L’shanah tovah tikateivu, may we all be written for a sweet and healthy new year!

Tickets and Payment

It costs us approximately $40,000 to bring our High Holyday services to the community (including rent, security, technology, children’s programming, additional staff, and food). While CDT adult membership includes attendance at High Holydays gratis, we request contributions for non-member partners, children of members, and close relatives, as well as our non-member guests. CDT is committed to ensuring that finances should never be a barrier to participation, and offers a sliding scale payment option on its High Holydays Ticket Form.

Each attendee will pick up their name tag at the first service they attend (starting with Erev Rosh Hashanah). This name tag will serve as your ticket throughout High Holyday services.

High Holyday services are included with membership. If you are interested in joining, please call us at 617-965-0330 for more information. If you're not ready to join now, but choose to do so before October 31, the High Holyday ticket payment amount will be credited to your account.
