Celebrate Tu B'Shvat (the New Year of the Trees) with Rabbinic Intern Akiva NeIson, Rabbi Toba and CDT member leaders Erica Streit-KapIan, Esther Kohn, Randi Levine and Sheryl Koenigsberg! The 15th day of the month of the Hebrew month of Sh'vat is also known as the "new year of the trees," marking the season when the almond trees begin to bloom in the land of Israel. Over the centuries, Tu B'Shvat has taken on mystical and environmental meanings.

At this Tu B'Shvat seder, we will explore teachings related to trees and the earth, connecting to the many levels of meaning found in this holiday. Please join us for a a mystically-inclined and delicious evening of song, poetry, arts-and-crafts, meditation, and spiritually-potent foods!  Parking is available in the Second Church lot up the street.
