7:30 PM - 9:00 PMCDT Sanctuary & ZoomMeeting ID: 813 7284 8580 Passcode: 954573
As we prepare for the Passover holiday and the ritual retelling of the story of the Exodus from Egypt, all are invited to join Rabbi Toba and CDT member Jon Adler for a discussion of the science of personal narrative and the narrative theology of the Passover story. How do we tell our stories, and why does it matter? Come join the conversation!
CDT Member Jon Adler is Professor of Psychology at Olin College and Senior Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as Co-President of the Association for Research in Personality. His research, focused on the relationship between our personal stories and our well-being, has been covered by The New York Times, NPR, The Atlantic, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, and other outlets. For the past decade, Jon has been Chief Academic Officer of Health Story Collaborative, a non-profit in Cambridge that runs science-based programs for medical patients and providers to share their stories.
