Beginner’s Hebrew 2.0 With Hannah Limov

Stumbling over your prayers and feeling confused as to why Vav’s are sometimes pronounced and sometimes not? Wanting to know more of what you are actually saying in the siddur? Join rabbinical student Hannah Limov for a 7-week dynamic and wonderfully supportive adult ed class focused on cementing our Hebrew reading skills, expanding our vocabulary and grammar from the siddur, and practicing creating our own translations.

Each week there will be opportunities to read out loud, chevruta (partner) learning to get support in your growth, review and learning new material, and about 30 min of homework to help integrate the concepts learned.

Skill Level: This class is geared towards Beginner/Intermediate folks who already feel mostly (but not completely) confident in their Aleph Bet and vowels*.

*For folks who took the class this past Fall, the first two classes will be review, and then we will be diving into new material.

Participants will be asked to purchase the workbook Aleph Isn't Enough, but if purchase of the workbook is a financial barrier, we will happily cover it.
