Growing the Light: Chanukah 5781

As the moon wanes and the days grow shorter, Chanukah is a celebration of the miracle of light. By celebrating the Maccabbees' re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem ("chanukah" means "dedication"), we are invited to re-dedicate ourselves to the holy sanctuary of community, a sanctuary built of our shared commitments and values (and love of singing and eating!). This year, in lieu of one big Chanukah party, we have a whole week of CDT Chanukah activities!

For the text and audio of the Chanukah blessings and a reconstructed version of Ma'oz Tzur, please go HERE.
