Family Erev Shabbat Potluck and Service

We offer a lively, musical erev Shabbat service with Rabbi Spitzer geared toward children 10 and younger. This is a monthly program and is usually preceded by candle lighting and a potluck dinner. Both programs offer a lively, informal introduction to Shabbat rituals and community life for young children and their families. Bring the kids and come join us!

Candle-lighting and potluck dinner at 6pm, followed by a musical all-ages erev Shabbat service at 6:45 pm.

Jan 29: Shabbat Shira 6:15 pm Potluck, 7 pm service

Tot Shabbat

Tot Shabbat is a monthly program, run by parents, for children age 5 and under and their parents. Join us in celebrating Shabbat with songs, stories, crafts and other fun activities. We will begin each session with feet-stomping, hand-clapping, get-your-sillies-out music for all ages. Then, there will be free play for infant- age 2 children, and a special story and craft for children ages 3-5. We will end the morning all together with a kiddush snack.

Junior Congregation

This is an awesomely fun, participatory service for 3rd through 6th graders (kids only!), led by our very own Elana Rome - teacher, singer, and youth leader extraordinaire! Spend a special Shabbat morning with your friends, or make some new ones! Kids will enjoy their own kiddush after the service. Sign up to help with Junior congregation kiddush here.
