Nadiv Lev Committee

A significant amount of Dorshei Tzedek's programs are supported through membership dues and also rely on contributions both from members and nonmembers - to sustain us.

We want to encourage our members, and their friends and family to consider supporting our community's activities as a way of acknowledging important lifecycle events and milestones, in memory or honor of loved ones, or simply as a yearly tzedakah contribution.

The following are special funds to which contributions can be directed:

General Fund: supports basic operations and expenses;
Religious School Fund: supports children's education scholarships and general expenses;
Holy Books Fund: to purchase siddurim, mahzorim, and related materials;
Torah Fund: for repair and upkeep of the Torah; to purchase other ritual objects as needed;
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund: to be spent at Rabbi's personal discretion, for tzedekah, scholarships, emergencies, books, and other necessary items.

All contributions to Dorshei Tzedek are valued, no matter the size of the gift. Any contribution that is not specifically marked for a particular fund will be allocated to the General Fund. If a gift is made in honor of a person or an occasion, an appropriate acknowledgment will be sent (if requested). It is our policy to acknowledge all contributions (but not amounts) in our newsletter, unless they are made anonymously. Members can pick up donation envelopes at our office or at services.

Your support enables us to maintain our high quality programs, and allows us to expand in response to members' interests and needs. Todah rabah- Thank you!
